Description

This is my remix of the cover for mmasson's sonoff enclosure (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2804973). I've modded this to house an httm capacitive touch switch (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-pcs-Blue-Color-HTTM-Series-Capacitive-Touch-Switch-Button-Module-New/32471771544.html). I've also inset a power icon so it glows when the sonoff is turned off to be found easily. The touch switch is wired into GPIO14, and the input is tied to ground using a 10K resistor.

For this particular switch I'm using Tasmota firmware and GPIO14 set to Switch4 - Switchmode 4

Note: these capacitive touch switches come in latching mode, which is what I'm currently using them in. You can solder a resistor which will convert it to a momentary switch, I think I'm going to end up going this route so the LED is constantly on. The downfall of having the latching switch is if you turn the switch off remotely, the LED on the switch will stay in an off state and I don't believe there is a way to change the design. Changing it to a momentary switch will ensure the LED stays on so you can see it in the dark when turned off remotely. I will post pictures once I do this modification.

Update: So I soldered a resistor to one of the httm switches to give the momentary mode a try, unfortunately the switch defaults to an OFF state and goes high with the LED ON while touching, this won't work for me. Keeping them in latching mode for now.
