Description

If you ever attempted to make an outside thread using a threading die, you know what a challenging task it can be. Starting the thread and keeping it coaxial can be very tricky. To help with alignment, I designed a tool that keeps the die holder perpendicular to the stock axis while threading. It makes starting the thread and keeping it aligned a breeze. STEP files provided so you can customise it to your die holder, especially the Custom* files.

Features

  • It accepts threading die holders up to 38mm OD (1-1/2").
  • Max stock size 20mm
  • Replaceable bushings to match your stock size (green part in the illustration)
  • Replaceable adapters to match your die stock holder (orange part in the illustration)
  • Lubrication port

Hardware

  • M5 40mm socket head screws (x8)
  • M5 hex nuts (x8)
