Parameterized Spool for thread or string

I had a spool disintegrate on a spool of 300 Yd of nylon thread/string. I did a search and was surprised to not find any spools for string or thread here (lots of filament spools and spool holders though). Anyway I threw this together and printed it.

The spool worked fine, trying to transfer the nylon thread from the remains of the original spool did not. I think I got about 50 Yd of it before the rest became an epic tangled mess.

I think it would have been a better use of my time to have just gone out and buy a new spool of thread.
