Wall Thickness Test

Different printers seem to handle wall thickness with varying results. Initially I did not believe a friend of mine when he said so, and he challenged me to test the theory. So, I created this file and printed it to find out. I was surprised to see that this was indeed the case!

Having printed this on a Ender3 and a X-Max, both printers seems to work slightly better and specific thicknesses.

I have found this handy when designing other files, as it gives me a physical reference of how strong a will will be, and what kind of quality the printer will produce. On the walls that are too thin for your printer, you will see the edges being a little fatter than expected. This will even show in corners. For thicker walls that need more than one pass, you can see some separation down the middle or the wall will just be off.
