Description

This is a complete rework of Tim Edward's OpenSCAD Chess set (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:585218):

  • Better print with no support (with exception of knight)
  • reduced base
  • holes in the bases for weight
  • color accents
  • simplified knight
  • consistent profiles

Only Support needed is for the knight's mane groove and ears, barely visible.

The OpenSCAD file renders all objects needed once:

  • only the left side of the knight's head is rendered. For a complete set 4 sides must be printed of which two need mirroring.

Depending on the print:

  • the knight's mane may need resizing/height reduction. Glueing the mane is recommended.
  • the bishop's waver and the king's cross need glue.
