Description
Multifunction Hand Drill
The model of this hand drill was originally developed for a printer with the capability of printing with multiple filaments, specifically the Mizar M printer from Geeetech. This printer features two print heads, which are interchangeable for separate filament printing to achieve both distinct colors and blending, enabling the creation of gradient transitions.
However, recognizing that the majority of printers are single-filament, I designed the model both as a solid piece and with the option to separate components for subsequent assembly using glue. For instance, the main handle can be split in the slicer, allowing the ring to be printed in a different color and then assembled into a cohesive unit. Additionally, there is a model with a reinforced platform that can be detached after printing. Given the variations in printers and the imperfections in adhesion in many cases, this option provides high fixed. In summary, there are several variations available, providing you with the choice to suit your preferences.
It's worth mentioning that the design was inspired by an existing drill handle, which can be purchased here . While the commercial version is impeccable, crafted from metal with anodization, I admired it and recreated it in my own way.
