Description

There are two versions of the lid, one with multiple parts to allow color printing of the logo. The svg for that one is in inches, so don't allow your slicer to rescale it or it will be very bad lol. Don't allow the slicer to put supports inside the hinge holes. I selected support from build plate only. I also used tree supports that seemed to work very well. I printed mine on the P1S in petg,

The hinge is made of a piece of 2mm steel rod. It should be a very tight fit in the two lid joint pieces and a somewhat loose fit in the case. I used a drill bit in a pin vise to ream out the lid holes a little bit, and then the same pin vise on the rod to get it through the first lid section and into the case section. I then used a small hammer to get it through the second lid section. I was able to trim the excess rod with a Dremel and cutoff wheel, however you might want to trim it before putting it in.

The holes in the lid and body are for harbor freight 5/16 x 1/8" magnets to be epoxied in.

Please share pictures of your make if you do print this. I would love to see others using this as it took a bit of effort to design.
