Description

Hey everyone! This is my version of a Spherical Parallel Manipulator.
This design uses 9 cheap and commen bearings to make the design move freelly and smoothly. I bought these cheap bearings from amazon, here is the link (https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B09PVDDBWF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title).
This design contains 19 parts and an extra needle for the red point. I recommend you print most of the parts with 10% hexagon-infill and 3 walls thick. The Center_pivot and Center_axle are printed with 15% grid-infill for better wall stability (also 3 walls thick). I have also provided screenshots and their best orientation for printing with the best chance of functioning right! I printed mine with a Bambu Lab P1S which has a pretty high accuracy.
All bearing are press-fit into the parts and so are the axles that go into the bearings. The red needle has a tip which contains a ball, this ball is roughly 4 mm in diameter and I shortened the overall length of the needle to 10 mm!
The Center-pivot can be removed from the Top_holder and inserted with a jig to hold a minifigure for painting for example, have fun designing addons for the Top_holder!
Thanks for printing my design and I hope yours turns out as awesome as mine did!
