About

Who we are

Easy3D is a French SARL based in Toulouse, founded in March 2019 by two partners, Margot and Nicolas.

The idea came from a simple observation: we can't always manage to repair our everyday objects. Spare parts are only available on the market for a very short period of time. The thought that our trusty old coffee machine or our faithful microwave will end up at the dump because of a tiny plastic part is unbearable to us.

Having both studied in the field of 3D part design and production, we realised that 3D printing was the perfect way to create affordable spare parts.

By creating Easy3D we offer solutions to keep appliances from needlessly ending up in the bin, and we have taken steps to make our service as environmentally friendly as possible.

Our equipment

We have equipped ourselves with filament deposition 3D printers Prusa MK3S+, MK3.5 and Prusa XL, manufactured in the Czech Republic. We mostly use biodegradable PLA filament made from corn starch and produced in Europe.

We have also invested in resin printers Form3B and Form3 from Formlabs, shipped from the Netherlands. Although less clean than PLA, resins enable stronger repairs that last over time.

Our goal is to help repair as many appliances as can be repaired. We also hope to make 3D printing more widely accepted as a repair solution, and to convince manufacturers of the value of preserving and sharing the blueprints of their parts.

We wish you a pleasant visit on our site easy3D.io!
