Identification of the parties
Easy3D is a limited liability company (SARL) with a share capital of 1 000 €, registered in the RCS of Toulouse under number 848 982 559, with its registered office at 44 rue Hoche, 31330 Grenade. The website is hosted by Infomaniak.
These terms govern the relationship between Easy3D and any Customer wishing to order a 3D print through easy3d.io.
Article 1 — Characteristics of the products and services
1.1 Purpose of the service. Easy3D offers a 3D printing and modelling service through an online platform.
1.2 Services offered. Customers can select freely accessible files or upload their own models for printing. Easy3D does not own the files; most of them are released under Creative Commons licences.
1.3 Required equipment. Customers must have a computer and an internet connection at their own expense.
Article 2 — Permitted content
2.1 Customer responsibility. The Customer is solely responsible for the content provided and must comply with the restrictions set out below.
2.3 Content restrictions. Easy3D may refuse any order that contravenes the law, public order, or "any insignia, brand or character whose intellectual property rights do not belong to the Customer". In particular, the following are prohibited: racist or discriminatory content, dangerous items, and anything related to firearms.
Article 3 — Obligations and liability of the Customer
3.1 Legal capacity. Customers certify that they are of legal age and have full legal capacity.
3.2 Accuracy of information. Customers must provide accurate information. Easy3D is not liable for incorrect data that prevents delivery.
3.5 Obligation to pay. "The Customer undertakes to pay, upon validation of the online purchase, the price of the item for which they have contracted."
3.6 Order tracking. Customers must confirm receipt. "Should the Customer fail to respond, the site reserves the right to proceed manually with validation within a period of fourteen (14) calendar days."
Article 4 — Obligations and liability of Easy3D
4.1 Manufacturing. "Easy3D undertakes to manufacture the project within the timeframe agreed when the order is placed." A dimensional tolerance of ±0.2 mm applies.
4.2 Duty of good faith. Easy3D, recognised as an expert in 3D printing, must warn Customers if the chosen characteristics appear unsuitable.
4.4 Confidentiality. "Easy3D undertakes, under these terms, never to disclose the content of projects to any third party under any circumstances." Source files are returned to the Customer upon delivery and then destroyed by Easy3D.
Article 5 — Ordering process
5.1 Order. Customers upload a file or select a model from the library, receive an estimated price based on volume and material, purchase the corresponding credits, provide billing information, and then confirm.
5.2 Validation. "The Customer's 'click' on the 'validate' button at the time of order constitutes an electronic signature which, between the parties, has the same value as a handwritten signature." Once printing has begun, no changes are possible.
5.3 Delivery. "Easy3D shall endeavour to deliver within 72 hours after the project has been printed." Ownership transfers to the Customer upon receipt.
Article 6 — Prices and payment
6.1 Pricing. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, with VAT and shipping costs itemised on the invoice. "Easy3D states that the prices of items offered for sale in the library on its site are indicative and may be modified at any time." Price changes do not apply to orders that have already been confirmed and paid for. Customers outside the EU are responsible for customs duties and must check the legality of imports.
6.2 Payment methods. Accepted cards: Carte Bleue, MasterCard, Visa. "Easy3D guarantees that it does not retain any bank card data." Stripe handles secure payment.
6.3 Procedure. Payment is debited upon validation. After 14 days without a response from the Customer, the order is closed.
Article 7 — Refunds
Easy3D refunds orders that breach article 2.3, less "a handling fee of 10%".
Full refund with no fees in the event of technical impossibility.
Parts that fall outside tolerance are reprinted free of charge.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal
8.1 Withdrawal by Easy3D. Easy3D may cancel an order for "technical or other reasons, including the technical infeasibility of 3D printing" or for breach of the terms.
8.2 Withdrawal by the Customer. "Regarding 'personalised' products… the right of withdrawal is in particular excluded for orders supplying goods made to the consumer's specifications."
Article 9 — Liability of Easy3D
9.1 Operation of the site. Best-efforts obligation only. "Easy3D is bound only by a best-efforts obligation, in particular regarding the use of all the tools made available to its Customers."
9.3 3D printing. Standard tolerances: ±0.2 mm (X, Y) and 0.1–0.2 mm (Z). High-end: ±0.1 mm (X, Y) and 0.025–0.1 mm (Z). "Any printed part that falls within these tolerances cannot be the subject of a complaint." Finishing operations (sanding, varnishing) remain the Customer's responsibility.
9.4 Use of the object. Easy3D is not liable "for direct, indirect or incidental damages, nor for compensation for moral injury". Safety instructions: do not ingest, keep out of the reach of children, keep away from heat sources.
Article 10 — Intellectual property
The Customer retains ownership of their files. "Easy3D may, with the Customer's consent, add the part to its library." All files in the library are released under a free Creative Commons licence.
The Customer declares that they hold "all intellectual and industrial property rights relating to the 3D printing files they provide". "The Customer undertakes to make strictly personal use of the result of the printing of the Objects."
The Customer grants Easy3D, free of charge, "the right to use, temporarily and for promotional purposes," photographs of the finished items.
Article 11 — Ancillary services
11.1 Modelling. Easy3D scans or reproduces the object received. Parts that cannot be printed are returned at no additional cost.
11.3 Delivery. Dispatch within 72 hours maximum after printing. For modelling work, the Customer is notified by email. Easy3D is not liable for damage in transit.
11.4 Payment. For ancillary services, the Customer is only charged after Easy3D has validated that the reproduction is feasible and compliant.
Article 12 — Dispute resolution
Subject to French law. Amicable settlement takes priority.
For business Customers: mediation through the CPMN, with costs shared equitably.
Jurisdiction: the courts of Toulouse. For consumers, the rules of consumer law apply.
Article 13 — Unilateral amendment
"Easy3D reserves the right to modify its General Terms and Conditions at any time." The applicable terms are those in force on the date the order is placed.

Personal data
Transaction history is retained for the legally required periods. Data is used for the management of the services and the tracking of orders.
Data processing
Processing is supervised by Nicolas Johan. Data is collected solely for the proper management of the services. Providing this data is mandatory in order to use the services.
Only Easy3D's teams have access to the data. "No data will be passed on to third parties without the user's consent."
Retention periods:
- Identity and contact details: up to 2 years after the account is closed
- Transaction history: 2 years after completion
User rights
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et libertés), users have the rights of access, objection, restriction and rectification.

Users may obtain "confirmation as to whether or not their data is being processed", a copy of their data, or exercise their "right to be forgotten". They may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL in case of disagreement.
Article 15 — Cookies
"Easy3D reserves the right to collect data about users, in particular through the use of cookies" and may pass this information on to commercial partners. Users may object using the contact methods listed above.
Article 16 — Security and confidentiality
The processing has been declared to the CNIL. Easy3D guarantees confidentiality and security in line with current best practices. "Easy3D undertakes to take all useful precautions, in view of the risks presented by the processing, to safeguard the security of the data."
