I created this some time ago, but never released it. This is in the style of the older OpenForge 1.0 stone series (including that it's an "edge" tile), but I've updated it to have support for the OpenForge 2.0 style bases. This piece and the pieces I'll release on friday (the barbican) are actually what inspired me to do the changes I did in OpenForge 2.0, as I couldn't figure out a real good way to add on an additional story to this, and thus the bases were born.
I'll probably eventually replace this with a cut-stone version, but I think these pieces are too awesome to never see the light of day. Having used them in game, along with the rest of the barbican, these got a total wow reaction from players.
Also, this is the first set I'm taking photos of in a lightbox I made with the support I've gotten from my patrons. Let me know if you like the white or black backed pictures better. I think these are much more clear, so I'm prone to move forward with the white backgrounds.
For instructions on how to get started with OpenForge, we have a set of tutorials. Want to sell OpenForge prints? Want to use OpenForge designs in your product, check out the license FAQ.
OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me in order to get the resources to let me create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. Please, support me, and I’ll deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain. You can find more about OpenForge and Masterwork Tools at our:
