Beschreibung

Tensegrity structures per Buckminster Fuller. Simple 6 strut sphere tensegrity plus 12 strut cuboctohedron. Icosahedron in the works, bug me if interested.

Notes:

  • Print the unit pieces in various colors if possible. Print flat side down of course.
  • Cuboctohedron has one small angle error that needs to be found and fixed, but it's not too bad.
  • You will need some screws to put it together, either metal or plastic, and probably a tap to thread the holes
  • Built-in hinge areas require some cleanup with xacto knife for proper operation and a bit tedious so could use some improvement
  • Be careful to print the first layer orientation in a direction that doesn't weaken the hinge areas
