Beschreibung

My lenses are modeled after pics of "GBFan Lowberg's" actual Mirax lenses and based off "GBFan WShawn's" STL model.
I modified his STL model by breaking them up into 4 pieces to rotate like the original Mirax Laborec lenses.
I modeled the AN/PVS-5 Night Vision Goggles from a pair I own.
The STL files are set to higher quality to reduce flat spots around the circumference of the lenses.
The thumb screws are from Mcmaster Carr, I wouldn't bother printing these out.
The Lenses are 4-40 thread size and can be tapped using 4-40 for the thumb screws and 10/24 for the base.
All other screws can be purchased from Mcmaster or other places. These will attach the lenses to the plate and accent the goggle frames.

Snap Buttons can be purchased from Amazon. Original Snaps were from DOT. They no longer carry the original snaps.
Be sure to leave the truss head screw loose on the plate so the bottom lenses rotate.
And clean out the grooves of the upper lenses when using supports.
I printed several test pieces using PLA-X3 and PLA. Had better results with regular PLA.
Also, provided close up pictures of my real NVG goggles showing snaps and labels.

Hardware Used:

Black-Oxide Pan Head Phillips Screws 4-40 Thread, 3/16" Long.

Black-Oxide Washer Number 4 Screw Size.

Black-Oxide Socket Head Screw 10-24 Thread Size, 3/8" Long.

Extra-Wide Truss Head Phillips Screws, 10-24 Thread, 3/8" Long

Knurled-Head Thumb Screw Narrow, 4-40 Thread Size, 1/2" Long

Added pdf file for labels from original NV goggles. Print "original size setting" on vinyl adhesive paper.

Model of the head strap is now available based on the original night vision goggles. Print pdf actual size. there is an adobe Illustrator and a DXF file also for reference.
Material seems to be nylon green straps.
Neoprene Rubber.
Leather end straps for button snaps.
I don't know a good buckle source.
