Beschreibung
I design these 3d printed action figures that I called model bots.
I designed this platform for the purpose of seeing if I can still make
model robots like I once did so many years ago. And this time I was successful
with this platform. Thanks for the help of some YouTube videos in regards to how to make
both the ball and socket joints correctly with the help of some Software. And with the help of a 3D printer this time I was very successful with this platform that I have design, as you see here are in the photos in the robots are in various poses. This 3D printed robot platform that I have design has about 14 points of articulation so I was able to get decent movement with this 3D printed platform that i have design. I also wanted to make something is not to complicated and not too simple but just right and I believe that I have achieved a reasonable balance with this 3D printed platform and also this can be done within a day as well. If you wish to download these files depending upon your 3D printer in your skill level with one set your 3D printer accordingly. After you're done with 3D printing the components. You will need a dremel power tool or something similar to it
and also you will need the right drill bits to clean the parts of some especially the ball and socket joints to remove some excess material as a result of the 3D printing process, note as you assemble the robot itself especially joining the socket and ball joints together be very careful as you join them I would recommend you sand out the ball joints to remove any excess material as necessary, and also with the right drill bit clean out the ball joints
and remove any excess material is necessary so you be able to easily fit the ball joints into the socket joints, and you may need some superglue to fill in some of the gaps necessary and then the photo should give you an idea what it should look like after its assemble an additional CAD File will show you how to assemblage looked like when it's assemble. The weapons are displayed in the photos are not included they just their for demonstration
purposes you should be able to find something or make your own weapons or additional accessories so enjoy.
