Are you a fan of laser cutters and engravers, dreaming of getting your hands on a top-of-the-line machine to bring your creative projects to life? Well, let me share with you my exciting journey in entering a design contest hosted by Atomstack, an esteemed manufacturer of Laser Cutters, and Engravers. The prize at stake? A coveted Laser Cutter Machine that could be a game-changer for any maker or creator out there.

The contest, sponsored by MakerBot Industries, LLC, presented me with the opportunity to showcase my design skills using the iconic new Atomstack logo. With a burning desire to win the grand prize, I delved deep into brainstorming innovative ideas for a new design that would catch the judges' eyes.

Crafting a Steampunk Spaceship Design

After much contemplation, I struck upon the concept of a steampunk-inspired spaceship emblazoned with the Atomstack logo on its tail fin. The idea thrilled me, as it combined elements of futuristic technology with a vintage, industrial aesthetic—a perfect tribute to both Atomstack's cutting-edge technology and the classic charm of steampunk design.

To ensure the design's durability and intricacy, I opted to create a digital asset initially, considering the fragility of certain components. However, with the promise of more time and careful planning, I hope to revisit this project and transform it into a tangible reality through SLA printing.

Dreaming Big and Crossing Fingers

As I pour my creativity and passion into this project, I can't help but feel the excitement bubbling within me. The prospect of winning a cutting-edge Laser Cutter Machine from Atomstack fuels my determination to push the boundaries of design and innovation.

So, as I submit my steampunk spaceship design into the contest, I urge you to keep your fingers crossed for me. With a stroke of luck and a sprinkle of creativity, who knows—I might just find myself among the lucky winners, ready to embark on a journey of bringing more awe-inspiring ideas to life.

In the world of makers and creators, every opportunity is a chance to unleash our imaginations and showcase our skills. With Atomstack's remarkable line of Laser Cutters and Engravers serving as a catalyst for creativity, the possibilities really expand

Stay tuned as I eagerly await the results of the contest, hoping that my steampunk spaceship design will catch the judges' attention and pave the way for new artistic endeavors.

Let's dare to dream and create wonders together!

Remember, creativity knows no bounds, and with sheer dedication and a touch of whimsy, we can turn our wildest ideas into tangible masterpieces. Are you ready to embrace the thrill of design and innovation with me? Stay tuned for more updates on my contest journey and the exciting world of laser cutting and engraving!

Edit 1. Was able to split and print in about 2 hours. Gluing now, we will see how well it looks in one piece tomorrow. Lost the lower fins, so may add a redesign, or just better supports, as i made them intentionally delicate like a feather. Not the best idea for a small print, i know. Was thinking more digital asset. They were not fans, but more feather like motion.

May decide to section into more printable pieces as well if there is any interest later.

Edit2 turned out not too bad when I glued it up. Used 3M E6800 works like the usual E6000 but it is UV resistant. Not something I am worried about with this one, just easier to have around for when I do need it.
