Please post makes, makes me very happy :)

Hello fellow makers,

here’s my configurable mini shelf system. The set includes various sizes of shelves and pillars to suit your individual use cases. The elements are interchangeable and simply plug together, a bit like Legos. There are connectors to build even taller structures and to let your creativity and applications run wild. > All parts are easy to print and don’t require supports. <

Work in Progress:
All initially published parts have been printed and tested, and they will not change. I plan to upload additional components to the system in the future. Let me know if you come up with more ideas.

Parts Info:

  • shelves: You can place a shelf rotated by 180° on the top to cap off your shelves.
    • shelf_large.stl: Dimensions in mm (w x l x h): 157 x 100 x 7
    • shelf_medium.stl: Dimensions in mm (w x l x h): 137 x 100 x 7
    • shelf_small.stl: Dimensions in mm (w x l x h): 117 x 100 x 7
  • connector.stl: Combines pillars to build higher structures or bridges (see title picture).
  • shelf_foot.stl: Placed beneath the first shelf to raise it by 3 mm and ensure a stable stand.
  • pillar_foot.stl: Placed underneath a pillar if no bottom shelf is used (compatible with 'shelf_foot.stl'). Also for combining pillars.
  • pillar_cap.stl: Placed on a pillar if no top shelf is used.
  • washer.stl: Placed beneath a pillar to add 5mm of extra height.
  • drawer_small.stl: A drawer designed to fit 'shelf_small_drawer.stl' and 'pillar50.stl'.
  • drawer_large.stl: A drawer for double-edge safety razor blade packs, fitting 'shelf_large_drawer.stl'.
  • tgfs_left.stl & tgfs_right.stl: Those brackets are very specific and allow upright storage of two 'The Godfellas' Smile Shaving Soaps' (or similar). You can fit the two packages back-to-back on a medium shelf (see image).

Printing:
Print the pillars with a wall count of four, as they will be under tension during assembly.

Assembly:
Make sure to insert the pillars straight and avoid them tilting or jamming. Start with the top shelf and connect all the pillars before you attach the lower one.

Updates:

2024

  • added 'Pillar40'
  • added 'TGFS Brackets'

2025

  • Drawer Update
  • added 3MF-Files for remixes

Leave a comment if you need other file formats to create remixes for even more parts! I’d love to see your creations shared here.
