Description

This is my ant weight battle bot 150g. Version 8. Named Dynamo
Wedge bot with tracks, can flip its self back over by going forward and then braking.
This bot fits in the size and weight rules.

Update: this is now version 9,
Changes are added some screw points on the front to fix metal to the wedge. Also added a spacing block for the motors so they can no longer be pushed in. Increased thicknesses and reduced in spots around the frame.

Part list
micro motors 30:1 or 50:1 both work well (https://www.robotgear.com.au/Product.aspx/Details/313-30-1-Micro-Metal-Gearmotor-High-Power)

tracks

2escs off ebay, 10A brushed

V tail mixer for the motors from hobby king.

For the battery I picked it off hobby king from the weight left over. 2s

I have recently remade the electronics side: to a 3s version:
different esc one off bot bitz (http://botbitz.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=50) and the hv micro motor 30:1 ratio still
also enough spare weight to put a bit of metal on the front to give some protection from spinners.

A video of it in action. (with some damage from previous rounds)

Also made a small stand for it.
