Descripción

The bare LEDs of an LED matrix can be harsh on the eyes, and some displayed things, like letters, can be difficult to read at times. This is a diffuser/divider grid designed to fit a 32x16 LED matrix. It turns the bright matrix dots into square pixels. A cheap source for these matrices is the pixel purse they sell on Amazon. You can buy a purse and extract the matrix for less than half the price of buying a matrix on its own. Get one here: https://amzn.to/2pg1OLA

You can print this all in white, clear, or neutral filament, but for best results, print the diffuser layers with white, and then switch your filament to black (or some other dark color) to print the grid. How you do that swap depends on the kind of printer you have.

If you have a 32x16 matrix and want the code for that green eye (which is animated), visit my github repository here: https://github.com/emilyvelasco/LED-Matrix-Display-Examples
