Edit: don’t use this thing, it’s super old! Use afterburner instead.

Yet another BMG to prusa-style extruder conversion. I did not like stock BMG idler mechanism so i stole design ideas from mobius2 extruder. You cam make both direct or bowden versions. For source parts i used chinese Triangle Lab clone. Things you need to take from it:

  • bondtech style gears
  • big and small gears
  • spring
  • all bearings
  • m3 screws
  • shafts

Custom mount for hypercube evolution included. Mounting uses 2 m3 screws vertically spaced by 24mm.

Feaures:

  • Adjust tension
  • Lock/unlock with latch (stolen from Voron Mobius2)
  • Cutout to see the nozzle
  • Izi duct dismount for quick access to the nozzle
  • As compact as possible

  • m3x20 x 2
  • m3x10 x 3
  • m3x35 x 3
  • m3x30 x 1
  • m3x20 x 1
  • m4x12 x 1 screw or e3d thumbscrew
  • m4 nut
  • m3 nuts x 5
  • 5015 radial fan
  • e3d v6
  • pancake motor nema17 (standard nema17 won't fit direct version, bowden is ok)
  • 40mm fan
  • nema17 PTFE gasket

Designed are to be printed without supports, but i am lazy to reorient parts properly. Idler part require support, sorry for that.

Designed in onshape. If possible use parts directly from onshape beacause i constantly tweak some stuff. Link to source:
