That's right, any GameCube color! This is a complete Gamecube shell, designed and modified to be faithful to the original Gamecube, while also being 3d printer friendly. I did a whole load of printing and testing, I cleaned up and refined almost every piece using fusion and meshmixer. Each file should be completely interchangeable with an OEM GameCube, and print reasonably well without photo artifacts from scans.
These files are a mix of pieces I created, along with modified scans found here:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5160350
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5364536/files
Some of the file changes:
-Durable snap on bottom covers that don't instantly snap
-Added Hi speed port cover to the files
-Top jewel sized correctly for OEM Gamecube and model refined for printing
-Printed shell is now compatible with Gameboy Advance adapter
-Snap-in top buttons beefed up so they don't snap off
-Touch up tolerances for back plate
-Fix screw holes on bottom
-Snap in/replaceable side vents
Changes that make this shell not truly OEM:
-Vents snap out
-The snap in vents are hex pattern and have my logo etched in them
-rectangle vents will be snap in as well very soon
-Bottom of shell has my logo and credit to tesser where the Gamecube warning and information stickers usually are (note: bottom is now cleaner than the photos show, files have been refined since)
-I do not have a jewel created yet that has the original "Gamecube" text, just blank or my logo
-QR code to this listing on back of jewel
Things missing or not modeled:
-Springs
-Internal button mechanisms (these can be taken from your existing Gamecube)
For a nice glossy finish on the jewel, use a whambam plate and place it face down. For clean support removal, I would recommend the pla with petg support interface trick, or bambu support interface material.
I will likely update this listing in the coming weeks if I find any flaws or things missing. Please leave a comment if I missed one of the files and I will upload it, it is very possible I left one out of the final folder.
