UPDATE
It has been bought to my attention that the carousel top is incorrect. As I state in the description, I had to make some modifications to simplify the model. Unfortunately, I uploaded the original top piece and not the modified one. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I was inspired to make this after the final episode of Call the Midwife which showed a wind up carousel.
After printing and assembling I found that some of the parts didn’t quite work the way I had intended. I altered these firstly to simplify the model and secondly to make assembly easier.
Most of the model was printed with an infill of 20%, the smaller parts I printed at 100%.
The model does need assembling and gluing, I used a good quality superglue. To help with the assembly I have included a PDF with assembly instructions.
