Hello,
here a new update of the DocEmmetBrown hand 21.01.2023. Meanwhile the third version of the hand is in work. It was changed by me some things. The thumb is also ready to work. All fingers have a new design. The levers of the fingers are no longer on the outer sides, but now a wide lever works in the middle. The palm is also revised with the inclusion of the thumb and has become 6mm narrower in the front area. The damping of the fingers is now realized by model car shock absorbers. The drives of the fingers and thumb are done with 5 Corona and one Actuonix servo.

A note on the matter. The platform Thingiverse has problems to store all the designs. Therefore it is no longer possible to upload .zip archives. However, it is urgent to put all the parts of the different components into .zip archives. Otherwise it becomes too confusing. Therefore there are only a few .stl files of the hand here on Thingiverse. I also tried to upload a documentation as . pdf. I did not succeed with that either. The .zip archives can be downloaded with the included links. For your information, the license that was created by the hand on Thingiverse is valid. Quite explicitly not for sale.

new update 25.08.22. Take a look to the new pics. All about the old files are changed. Make the bumping fingers by model car suspension. Dont no more longer molds for creating the rubber fingertips. The fingertips are molding dirctly in the finger. The moving function is realzed by gearwheels.

What come next. The thumb is in work.

Hi, this is the collection of finger from my CAD prosthetic hand. It is designed with lever to open and close the fingers. The version to akt the finger over strings is not so pretty. The Printing of this parts is not easy. You have to try it on every part of finger new. For more contact me. This Project is not ready, it is under construction. To assable ths fingers you need Bolts of M4x8 and M3x5 (flat head). And threaded sleeves from 10x5mm with M3 and 16x5 M4 thread.

You need to print the finger parts only all .zip files. In .zip file Zeigefinger are the part Anschlusstück, that you neet for all fingers. The part Stoessel you neet for Zeigefinger, Mittelfinger and Ringfinger, for Kleiner Finger you need the Stoessel Klein.

It is planned to pour the fingertips with 2K silikone. But the molds are not ready on this time.

1. February 2020 Last Update is, ThumpWithAnker.This Made is under construction, not ready.

2. Oktober 2020 Last post of my make of a bionic hand. i am now constructing the 4th version of the thumb with new drives.The drives are now in the thumb itself. This change to Actuonix actuators also requires a redesign of the hand root.The last pics are the Handroot from 2 sites, and the thump with integrated drives.

3. December 2020 New gread update. I create all fingertip new. All fingertips become a 2K Silicone casting mould, to create the rubber fingertips. The Thump ist compleetly new designed, with 2 linear drives in. As next i design the handroot as new, with include the Actuonix PQ12-R.

20.December NEW Upgrade. I cast a thumb tip from 2K silicone. This worked very well for the first attempt. However, I found that the inner shape of the receptacle for the cast piece of silicone is not sufficiently stable. Therefore, I have redesigned all 2K casting molds and fingertips in this area. I will upload these new molds and fingertips in the next few days.

New upgrade 01.01.2021
Hi guys, I have another information here today about the 2K Silicone Fingertips. Since I reworked all the fingertips for a better hold of the silicone inserts, all the silicone casting molds had to be recreated as well. The molds are all 2 parts and horizontally separated. I tried to print the molds this way. However, this works very poorly because the support material can not be removed properly. Therefore, I have now separated the molds vertically in the middle. Thus, printing is possible almost without support material. The thumb pad mold is finished, but not yet labeled. The new mold parts are called ThumRigth and ThumpLeft, the other fingertips will follow soon.

What is not tested. I need still wrap springs for the finger joints.
